About

Vocal Reclamation is a ceremony for re-mothering our connection to the Sacred Medicine Wheel by using the voice as a bridge to embody both the wild and the wise. Participants are guided methodically into accessing one's "full voice" through rituals of rhythm keeping, sound experimentation, and somatic technologies rooted from ancestral healing traditions. The ceremony uses both educational and experiential pathways for challenging one's edges of expression.

This playshop is open to everyone with no musical or singing experience required.

Each season offers a thematic direction for understanding the interconnectedness between our body and the land we live on. This ceremony moves into the Western Water, a celebration of dreams, love, and healing.

a poem from the facilitator --

Tides of spring awaken the limitless maiden, constantly learning. Failure as play. Mistakes are jewels to wear. The mystery of the West is to walk with an open heart. Every passerby is a past life connection. The maiden romances the possibility, using creativity as an exit door from fear.
