About

The Way of Tea is an intimate tea sitting, where guests will participate in gong fu cha  style service — tea and conversation. Guests are invited to slow down for a two-hour immersive exploration of tea, where tea is experienced as both craft and ritual. These tastings are designed to feel approachable, thoughtful, and community-oriented, supported by the calm and intentional atmosphere of our daytime lounge.

Each tasting reservation includes full access to Daylight Hours. Choose your session time, and feel free to linger in our lounge between 10a and 3p.

Arrival & Timing

Please arrive between 10:00–10:15 AM for the morning session or 12:45–1:00 PM for the afternoon session. The tea tasting begins promptly. If you arrive after the tasting has begun, we may not be able to pause or repeat portions of the experience.

We invite you to give yourself enough time to arrive, settle in, and be present before we begin. Since the tasting is a shared experience, arriving on time helps us honor the time and presence of everyone in the room.

In-House Artist

Trang Tran (she/they) is diving deeper into the world of tea and, through the journey, cultivating connection to her body, mind, and spirit. She believes the ritual of tea deepens our relationship with Nature, helps us slow down and bring our attention back into a space of mindfulness, grounds us in gratitude and embraces the existence of our beings.

From pop-up tea tastings, hosting and training facilitation at Tea at Shiloh to collaborations with artists across disciplines, Trang creates intimate experiences that explore the relationship between tea, space, and connection.
