About
In the recent years, fiber arts and basketweaving have been a therapeutic outlet for me, providing a place of respite from the daily goings on and bustling about. I find a lightness and ease in this practice and am looking to share this feeling with others.
Over the course of the evening, we will learn how to prepare the fiber for pliability, starting the base, latching on and an introductory weaving pattern. It will be free flowing with guidance alongside you until the piece is ready to be finished, which will then be trimmed and gently sealed.
Pupils can anticipate taking home a piece ranging from 4”-8” in diameter+ height. Imperfection will be most welcomed, encouraged, and embraced.
This is a beginner friendly class.
