About
Historically, one of the functions of a tea house was to serve as a place where oral narratives were exchanged. Folk tales, legends, songs and myths – there was space for all forms of story.
As the sun sets, join us for An Encounter with Rumi. We will hear a selection of offerings from the great mystic poet Rumi, and together explore its symbolism & themes -- drawing on Rumi's timeless wisdom for insights on our own lives and experiences.
Guests are encouraged to bring their preferred writing and/or drawing journals. The session will be guided by Rumi scholar Omid Arabian.
Doors open at 7 pm.
