About
A transformative beginner friendly sensual movement workshop curated to remind you what it feels like to truly listen to your body. An experience where you’ll activate all five senses, awaken your sensual essence and bring yourself home through movement and deep listening.
⁀➴
Imagine a space where you give yourself full permission to express your sensual being. A place you can immerse yourself into the rhythm and movement your body craves. You’ll connect with the softness of a rose, the magic of cacao and the whispers of your body.
The workshop moves through a slow warm up that awakens the senses through breath, soft touch, stretch and the taste of cacao. Followed by fluid movements throughout the space where you will be guided into awakening your most sensual self.
Once you are all fully in body you will learn a simple sultry choreography. No dance experience needed, simply an open heart. Come dressed as your most sensual self.
Immerse into a space where we believe the body knows, pleasure is a practice and being witnessed in community heals. If you’ve been longing for a moment to feel sensual, confident, and sexy this space is for you.
Doors close promptly at 7:30pm
Artist Biography
Tikisha is a professional dancer based out of Sedona, AZ, that is on a mission to help connect women and femmes deeper to themselves and feel courageous enough to be witnessed by others. She believes ‘everyone is a dancer - a lot of us just simply forgot how to listen and drop in.’ She observed that we live in a world that rewards doing over being, thinking over sensing and performing over feeling leaving us disconnected from our bodies and our power.
Her work combines the teachings of the mind and body connection from her technical background and the heart and soul connection from her embodiment studies. Her mission is to help women and femmes remember that ‘when we give ourselves permission to move without judgement, and feel safe enough to be fully unapologetically ourselves, something inevitably shifts inside.’ The most important practice Tikisha will leave you with is deep listening.
