We will enjoy a variety of Houjicha teas and treats, from the classic roasted blends to more unique variations, and experience its subtle differences in taste and aroma. We will also practice traditional Japanese tea incense, learning how to experience the full grounding qualities of Houjicha through this method.

About the Instructor
Tsubasa Sano is a certified Japanese Tea Instructor—an honor achieved by fewer than 35% of applicants due to its rigorous standards in both academic knowledge and practical skills. Under the name “Engawa Kissa,” Tsubasa brings the charm of a traveling Japanese tea café to Los Angeles, offering a selection of traditional and blended teas.
