Herbs & Potions for Winter Restoration

As we navigate the devastating impacts of this months fires in Los Angeles and we work to heal the smoke in our lungs, the sorrow in our hearts, and stress in our minds, we look to the medicine Earth provides more than ever. In this workshop we will come together to learn & work with the wild herbs that grow right here in our wild Los Angeles landscape that can support us in restoration; herbs that relieve the respiratory system, fortify the body, strengthen the heart, and balance the nervous system. 

While this month has been filled with chaos & uncertainty, deep winter is energetically a slow moving season where we are invited to drop deeper into rest, dreams, fortification, renewal, and wisdom. In this immersive evening of herbal ceremony, education, and potion crafting we will begin by tuning into the energy & herbs of winter through an herbal tea ceremony & guided meditation, followed by a deep dive into the physical & energetic properties of selected winter herbs & winter rituals, and the night will conclude with hands on potion crafting stations where each guest will create their own herbal remedy to take home. 

Guided by Sasha Emoniee, an artist, herbalist, and Earth tender from California who creates experiences that encourage people to interact with the Earth through all of the senses. Sasha’s offerings center the value of being in reciprocity with the land wherever you are.
