About
Join us for an interactive film viewing experience to inspire appreciation of the art of film and uplift underrepresented stories. The evening will consist of 4-5 short films, taking you on a journey through subcultures, familial connections, and creative resilience.
Each film will be paired with a curated tea blend to bring the story to life through all senses. There will be space to reflect on the films together, examining the art through collective discussion and reflection. The night will be woven with time for connecting with one another, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful ambiance.
Hosted by Darian Younce of Noirisme. Noirisme is a film collective dedicated to celebrating the artistry of Black and BIPOC arthouse filmmakers/creatives and untold narratives within film. Through artfully curated screening events, exhibit curation, and community archival workshops, Noirisme celebrates cinema that redefines cultural representation beyond the stereotypical tropes often employed in mainstream and commercial cinema; in addition to bringing these films into spaces where our stories are often overlooked.
