About
In this immersive 2-hour workshop, participants will get to experiment with ethically harvested ingredients that highlight the rich aromatic traditions of California native plants and incense making.
Through hands-on experience, guests will create their own custom incense cones blending plant matter while gaining a deeper understanding of the properties and benefits of each plant used and how to strengthen our relationship to wild lands.
Participants will work with 5 different powders to craft incense cones and Los Angeles Forest Spring water
This workshop will be led by Andrea Jimenez, a Naturalist, Herbalist, and the founder of Herb Club LA. As a first-generation immigrant of Native American descent, Andrea's work centers the connection between land health, community health and individual health. Andrea believes that connecting with our plant-kin and living closer with the rhythms of nature will lead to more harmony and resiliency.
