About
Join us for an evening of dreamy piano at the teahouse. These nights are meant for those who want to come and experience the teahouse in a more introspective setting than our usual evenings of late night tea.
We encourage guests to bring books, journals, sketchbooks or any solo projects they are working on.
Timing wise, live music sets tend to occur in the middle of the evening but will ultimately be played to match the flow of the night. We recommend arriving before the end of the night to make sure you catch the live music.
Piano by Micah Bachrach
Music is how Micah navigates the world. When he plays piano, he merges with the space, completely improvising based on the energy of the particular room that night, listening to the rises of chatter, and dips of meditation. He likes to emphasize that in this way, the creation of the music is not his own - but instead a mutual creation of everybody present, all of us cyclically listening, communicating and creating with each other.
