Bloom Where You Are Planted: An Intuitive Herbal Immersion 

This workshop combines intuitive sensory practice and clinical herbalism through ancestral memory, herbal tea, and poetry. You will discover how your body knows and cultivate what it needs, learn the healing properties of Summer herbs, express your instincts through poetic art and leave with a personal tea ritual you can return to at home.  

The workshop mirrors the life of a blooming flower ❀

1. The seed–We begin in the quiet, through breath and sound arrive in our senses to get in touch with our intuition to pick the herbs we need. We will learn the interconnectedness of herbs, the land, and those who tend to them 

2. The roots–As herbs teach us, our roots grow into our depth, into darkness, intuitively knowing deep in the Earth lies water and nutrients for growth. The roots of a flower, although underground, are still aware of the life they support above and like us, through a blind picking, will pick the herb you feel called to harvest as a testament to that same intuitive process

3. The opening–Our ancestors used intuition to discover medicinal herbs, it was a matter of survival by gifted souls who pushed the practice forward. We will ground ourselves in that same intuition as a testament to our ancestors and pick from curated Summer herbal blends using only our intuition. 

4. The bloom–Inspired by the taste, the aroma, the self-inflection, and even the aura found in the steam, together we write poetry and draw art (whatever medium is evoked). And like a field of colorful wildflowers connected by one root system, we will grow toward the light together. Enjoying summer bites and sipping tea, each of us rooted in our knowing and nourished by one another, in a summer bloom, create a community mosaic of wildflowers
