About
As the vibrant days of summer give way to the crisp, cooler air of fall, join us for an illuminating workshop that delves into how Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) explains this seasonal transition and its effects on your well-being. We’ll explore how the shift from the expansive energy of summer to the more introspective fall impacts your energy, digestion, and immune system.
Learn about the connection between shorter daylight hours and seasonal depression, and discover TCM-based strategies to uplift your mood and maintain balance through dietary tips and lifestyle changes. The workshop will also feature a practical gua sha demonstration, showing how this ancient medical technique can boost immunity, fight fevers, and stimulate points to alleviate depression and grief.
Yina has sponsored a set of in-house Gua Sha tools that we will provide to all guests who attend. We’ll cover a facial gua sha routine designed to revitalize your skin, addressing common fall concerns like sagging, puffiness, and fine lines. Experience these techniques firsthand and gain valuable insights to enhance your fall wellness.
Please bring a journal to take notes during the lecture portion of this workshop. Gua Sha + mirrors will be provided.
